Marriage, Singleness, and the Mystery of Christ’s Love
When we open Ephesians 5:21–33, many of us brace ourselves. We expect a “marriage talk”—maybe inspiring, maybe painful, maybe mixed. But this passage is not merely a set of rules for husbands and wives; it is a window into the very heart of Christ.
Prayer and God’s Word
We’re focusing on these two essential pillars of faith. Prayer is our soul’s approach to God’s throne through the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating our hearts and transforming our lives (Hebrews 4:12).
Serving with Intention
Christian living is not merely emotional response but a deliberate, thoughtful alignment of our actions with God’s will—offering ourselves as living sacrifices through everyday obedience, using our God-given gifts purposefully, and allowing God to renew our minds so that service becomes our natural response to His grace.
Seeking God in the New Year: Trusting God in difficult times
Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust the Lord with ALL our heart, refuse to depend on our own understanding, and seek His will in everything. This means obeying God even when it makes no sense, surrendering our plans, and bringing Him into every decision. The result? He will show us which path to take—not necessarily the easy path, but His path, where His presence guides us.
Seeking God in the New Year: Celebrating our diverse cultures
In Christ, there are no barriers—no distinctions of race, language, or culture. We are one body, made in God’s image, united in faith. From every nation and tongue, we stand together before the throne. Our diversity is not eliminated but celebrated in Him.
The Saviour is coming again
The birth of Christ wasn’t just a beautiful moment frozen in time—it was the beginning of a cosmic rescue mission that won’t reach its conclusion until heaven and earth are made completely new.
The Saviour has come
Imagine the Creator of the universe wanting to share your backyard, use your bathroom, sit at your table. That’s the Christmas miracle. Jesus came full of grace and truth—unmerited favor for those who deserved the opposite, and absolute truth in a world searching for answers.
The Saviour is coming
The Saviour came once as a humble baby in a manger. And here’s the beautiful truth: He’s coming again! In our hardships and confusion, we can walk forward with hope because “every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good” (Romans 8:28). Don’t fight against life’s challenges—walk into them with Jesus.
Why your testimony matters
Your testimony is powerful because it points to the power of God. It’s not about you—it’s about Him. Just as Scripture is filled with testimonies of people who failed, struggled, and yet encountered God’s grace, your story adds to that living testimony today.
