Ministries

prayer

We believe that everything we do, have done, or consider doing, is underpinned by prayer and we are so thankful that prayer is a vital part of church life.

music team

We appreciate our music and singing team who lead us in worshipping God at the beginning of each service.

Woman2Woman

A ministry for all women in the church and beyond; a ministry where women of all ages can feel comfortable and included; a ministry offering friendship, and acceptance. W2W hold these afternoons 3-4 times each year. With a wide variety of activities, guest speakers and a spiritual aspect. This is also a great opportunity to minister to women of all ages. Everyone is welcome and these events are always a lot of fun. In the last twelve months,  we have had a ‘high tea’ afternoon, an indoor garden party, a Christmas Inspiration evening with craft segment, and each year a food, film and fellowship evening.

Children’s Church

Our children worship with the adults for the first half of the Sunday service and then have a Bible study and morning tea during the sermon time. We believe that children need to feel part of the church, participating in church and worshipping together with the whole congregation. We want them to feel they are a valuable part of our congregation and also recognise the importance of teaching them Biblical values in a way they can understand.

Youth ministry

Our teens from year 9-year 13 have a small group study upstairs during the Children’s church time.  This is a great time of discussion that is age-appropriate. We also run a youth social event in the evening on the third Friday of the month.  New people are always welcome.

Blokes ministry

A periodic gathering of the ‘FBC Blokes’ & guests who explore different workplaces, fun and fellowship. This is a great opportunity for our men folk to get to know one another in a relaxed environment.

“Let us practice the fine art of making every work a priestly ministration. Let us believe that God is in all our simple deeds and learn to find Him there.”
