Generosity that isn’t just a good habit, or something the church occasionally does alongside prayer and fellowship, but a core act of worship. It’s one of the most visible ways we declare our trust in God, and our love for others.
Prayer must be foundational and a core value for our church. The early church did not begin with preaching. Acts tells us it began with prayer. There is power when God’s people pray together.
The Psalms say that all we can do is long for God, thirst for God, remember God, hope in God, sing God’s word, praise God, and look to God. And in just about every Psalm, from Psalm 1 to Psalm 150. Every Psalm ends with more or less, the Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Where you’re called to might be unclear, what you are called to do is abundantly clear. People must believe in Jesus. People must be told about Jesus to believe We must be the ones to tell them about Jesus Step into your calling today and Reach One!
Our intention as we embrace God’s call, is to live a life worthy of the calling. It’s to show the goodness of God to others.
