God Restores Us
Even the smallest amount of God’s strength is restorative. This is a fact/truth regardless of our circumstances or failings.
Geoff reminded us last Sunday that we are all promised “trouble/hard times”. Alas my somewhat distorted view of things keeps me from believing/remembering this. So, unable to receive God’s touch in the situation, I flounder. Expecting God to be involved in every moment of my life is what I aim for. God sees the 100% restored person. The hard times are often used by Him to restore all aspects of our being. I am encouraged to know, as I depend on God, He will be reliable and constant in developing/restoring the real me. Seems like matters always come back to – staying in Christ, relying on God, reading and believing in His Word.
Be encouraged, God NEVER gives up on us.
1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for He CARES about YOU.
Psalm 48:14 …For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and HE WILL guide us until we die.
