A Church That Rang Out: The Power of Radical Love for Jesus

The Thessalonian church was a community so in love with Jesus that their faith “rang out everywhere.” In 1 Thessalonians 1:7–10 we see a powerful picture of what it looks like when a church truly loves Christ: they become an example to other believers, the word of God echoes through their everyday conversations, idols are ruthlessly abandoned, and their lives are shaped by a real anticipation of Jesus’ return. This message challenges us at Fairfield Baptist Church to reject mere strategies and busyness, and instead rediscover wholehearted love for Jesus that overflows into bold, authentic witness.
