Kerri Price – Aver ministries

Kerri has been involved in community ministry and international mission for over a decade. Together with her husband, Rob, she currently lives aboard their 50-foot catamaran and is in full-time ministry throughout the South Pacific. Predominantly based in Vanuatu, Kerri is involved in health, education and community development projects, working amongst some of the Pacific’s poorest communities.

As a gifted speaker and writer, Kerri founded Aver Ministries in 2019, with the hope of helping women Unlock God’s word, Unleash His spirit and become Unstoppable in their faith. She is the primary author of ‘She Shares Her Heart’ and has penned numerous devotional series on Living a Big Life for a Big God.

Between us, Rob and I have six children and being a Mum, Step-Mum and Nana is the coolest job God ever gave me. Navigating the craziness of a blended family has not always been easy, but it’s definitely been worth it. I feel blessed to have so many noisy, full-hearted, boots-and-all kids, and grandkids, around the table.

Janene Forlong – Ecclesia

Janene Forlong is an author, speaker and worship leader. She has had diverse work experience over the years, from different media roles in print and television to working as a worship pastor in a couple of churches. Janene and her husband Michael Forlong have served as pastors and leaders in three churches for most of their married life.

She is very passionate about worship and Gods restoration work. Janene self-published her first book,’ Where Fear Rules’ in 2016 and since then has been facilitating workshops for small groups with a heart to see many people set free from debilitating fear.

In the down times you will find Janene at her piano writing songs, tending to her rose bushes, watching a fabulous movie or taking a stroll through Gods beautiful creation. She also loves to travel, explore new places, go shopping like most women do and spend time with her friends and family.

Joanne Hand – Hagar NZ

Joanne spent twenty years working with Kurdish women and girls in Turkey with a Christian charity.  Seeing many Kurds come to faith in Jesus inspires Joanne in her belief that one person can impact the world.

While living many years in Turkey, she has also lived in Israel and Greece, depending on her involvement in other projects impacting communities in the Middle East.

Over the years, Joanne has engaged in many of the social justice issues that disproportionately impact women and girls, such as violence against women, the spread of HIV, mental health issues, and gender equity.

Her commitment to the status of women and girls in the world continues through her role with Hagar New Zealand, raising awareness about the issues of slavery and trafficking and funding for Hagar’s trauma recovery work for survivors of these extreme human rights abuses.

Karyn Woodhouse – Fairfield Baptist Church

Karyn and Ross Pastor the Fairfield Baptist Church and have been in pastoral ministry for around 20 years.  Karyn has a background in nursing and worked as a self employed midwife for 10 years.  She works part time for a non-profit organisation, Fairfield Baptist Church and does volunteer work in Children’s ministry, tech support, administration, Days for Girls, suicide bereavement and prevention.  Karyn and Ross have 3 children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren with another little granddaughter due in mid November.
