Our sincere thanks must go to the Call Committee who have prayerfully waited on the Lord and so faithfully gone through such a lengthy process to select our new pastor who has now answered the call and accepted the position. Pastor Ross Woodhouse will spiritually guide Fairfield Baptist Church for its next season, and we are privileged to share in the journey and the blessings that will follow. We trust God entirely that His plan for us has prevailed.
Our Heavenly Father sees the whole picture, while we only see our tiny corner of it. He knows what the future holds for us all so continue to pray and trust in the Lord with all your heart.
My dad Ron had the following verses from Proverbs in a large poster printed on the door of his rest home room before he passed away, and they have been a favourite of mine ever since.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.”
Also pray about everything, and thank Him for all He has done.
Philippians 4: 6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Together let us enjoy the richness of God’s blessings for this new season.
