On a few occasions my colleague has come to me and complained of being “tired” and I respond the same way and say “no spring”. As we are working in a production line, the job is quite demanding. By the end of the shift, I just want to go home. I realise that I don’t have the stamina like I used to have, and the occasional aches and pains or tear and wear that I have show we are no longer young men. I know some of you can identify with me.
From my observation, I will think that Paul wrote this in his golden years…
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4 v 16 – 18
That is a tremendous help to me and is TRUE.
Hey folks, be of good cheer!
