Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. (Psalm 146:3)

To trust someone, is to have faith and confidence in their integrity and character, believing that they have our best interests at heart.

Betraying someone’s trust can cause irrevocable damage to their spiritual, mental and emotional well-being.

There is only one person who is faithful and true to Himself, His Word and His Creation – the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of our souls.

Why can we trust Him?

His Word is true. (Proverbs 30:5)

Many of the prophecies in the Bible have already been fulfilled and all will be fulfilled in time. Luke 24:44

Creation testifies to the glory and character of God. Romans 1:20

He is the only one who can save us from our sin. John 14:6, Acts 2:38

Jesus came to defeat Satan and nothing separates us from the love of God. (1 John 3:8 and Romans 8:38-39)

He has promised to never leave us or forsake us and to be a refuge and stronghold for us. Deuteronomy 31:8 and Psalm 9:9-10

He has gone to prepare a place for us in eternity with Him and verse 2 provides extra assurance of this. John 14:1-3

Be encouraged to continue to place your faith and trust in our amazing God and “may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him… by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
