For this reason he had to be made like them,[a] fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves?
