“He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.”
On a trip to the holy land we were in Jerusalem, and while here it was an emotional and spiritual experience to wander through the streets that Jesus may of have travelled. We were taken to a place just outside the walls where there was a rock formation that had an appearance of a skull and next to it was a place called the garden tomb. When viewing the tomb and surrounds it was as if you had had an amazing experience of where Jesus was crucified and buried. But the most amazing thing is that when entering the tomb, He was not there! He had risen, so the site became less important but the fact that He had risen was the good news. He has risen and He is alive. Praise God.
