Saul of Tarsus ( present day Turkey) was the chosen vessel of God Almighty, was living in Jerusalem, worked for Roman govt. and studied under Gamaliel. Saul was heading to Damascus ( Syria) to persecute believers, Christ caught him. The greatest good news of Risen Christ as 1 Cor 15 chap, you have explained. Hallelujah Christ is Risen and we have everlasting life.
